Brad has jokingly apologized for playing his guitar so fast, because it can make folks a bit nervous at times! Listening, as a kid, to Eddie Van Halen Brad believed Eddie was using only a flatpick to play fast. When Brad saw Van Halen in 1982, he was shocked that Eddie was picking and tapping at the same time. The rest is history, Brad created his own technique the Double-Down-Up picking method that has garnered his nickname "The Shredder" from Nashville and LA industry giants.
